Welcome to my quilting life!!
Ever since I was about 8 years old, I have loved sewing. I started by helping my Grandma with her many thrift store fabric quilts. Throughout Jr. High and high school I would often sew my own clothes for special occasions. My mom would sew us all kinds of clothes as kids, which at the time was a lot cheaper than now. Seems like cost on almost everything has skyrocketed, (especially in 2020-2021) am I right?
I LOVE anything to do with sewing and quilting and now that I have my own sewing room (FINALLY) I am taking full advantage of it. I love using my gift of sewing to create items that will be loved and cherished for years to come. It is such a special thing to create a Memory Pillow or Blanket in someone's memory or for a special life event. I am definitely glad that I have stashed a house full of fabric to keep me busy for a while. SHHH... don’t tell my husband. Lol. I can somehow always still find new fabrics that I absolutely NEED. Let’s face it, I am addicted to fabric and quilting. 🥰
I have started longarm quilting for others and absolutely LOVE IT! I can't wait to see all the fabulous quilts that you have made and be able to add my creative touch to make them even more beautiful for you.
