About Me
Hi I'm Andrea,
I am a farmwife, Mom of 2 boys in grade school and a middle sister of 3 girls. I learned to sew at a young age by watching my Mom sew us matching outfits as a young girl. I fell in love with quilting at the age of 8 when my grandma let me help hand stitch on many of her projects that she put together with thrift store scraps.

I love drawing, fabric and picking colors (Teal is my favourite) so as a young adult I was encouraged by a good friend and her mom (who ran a local quilt shop at the time) to submit some designs for fabric. For a few years, I designed several cartoon fabric lines for Moda Fabrics in Texas.

I enjoyed coming up with my own quilt patterns to go with the release of each fabric line. I have continued to design several other simple quilt patterns over the years and sold them locally. In 2017, I created a Canada themed quilt using a Canadian fabric line by Trend Tex Fabrics for an across Canada contest. I was thrilled and surprised to win 2nd place overall.

After losing both my parents to Cancer in 2012 and 2017, I decided to make memory pillows out of Mom's shirts. After sharing pictures of them on social media, I began making pillows and T-shirt quilts for others too. I love creating treasured mementos of loved ones or of special clothing from people's lives for them to HUG and HOLD close.

Ever since my years of designing fabrics, I wanted a Longarm Quilting Machine. I finally have one and I am thrilled. It's something that I have wanted for 17 years. I am excited to provide longarm quilting services to you.
